Did you let your certification expire? Good news! We have a 6-month grace period.
The NPCP recognizes that at times there are circumstances that cause certificants to miss their certification renewal deadline. All certificants are allowed a 6-month grace period after their expiration to renew. *Grace period is 180 days counted after expiration date.
Please note that grace period is available to help certificants gather their CECs after their certification expired. This means that your certification is expired. As soon as CECs are submitted, reviewed, and approved, renewal process is finalized – expiration date is changed, and profile is shown in the directory again).
During the 6 month grace period
Certificants may submit the Renewal Application and pay an additional $40.00 late fee.
*Grace period is 180 days counted after expiration date.
After the 6 month grace period
Certificants who want to obtain their certification after the 6-month grace period must reapply and retake the exam.
