Petitioning

Certificants who have taken non-NPCP approved workshops may petition to have hours considered toward their renewal.

Steps to petition:

  1. Check eligibility – The workshop must fall within the Scope of Practice of a Pilates professional. If it is Pilates content it must be taught by an NCPT/ PMC.
  2. Submit renewal payment – Your renewal application payment must be completed before your petition.
  3. Prepare your documents – Each petition requires:
    • Completed Petition Application
    • Certificate of Completion
    • Workshop Description
    • Instructor’s CV/Resume
    • $25 non-refundable fee (per certificate)
  4. Submit your petition – Upload all documents with clear file names (no spaces or symbols).
Distance Learning (Pre-recorded video, DVD, or home-study courses) are not eligible for petitioning!
Important: Contact the Continuing Education Department before submission if you are unsure whether a workshop is eligible.
