Newly Appointed Board Members
The PMA welcomes two new members to the Board of Directors

The Pilates Method Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to the Board of Directors: Stella Hull-Lampkin and Nicky Taylor Steward. These appointments fill two vacancies on the Board. Their service will commence on August 1, 2020.
We welcome these PMA members to the board as new voting directors and look forward to the value their leadership will bring. As we continue our mission to advance Pilates as a profession and to promote and perpetuate the teachings of Joseph H. and Clara Pilates, the depth of knowledge and relevant experience of both Stella and Nicky will provide valuable insight and perspective.

Stella Hull-Lampkin
Stella has worked in a wide variety of roles within the fitness industry over the past 35 years, with an emphasis on Pilates. Her most recent role since 2011 is Operations Manager for BASI Pilates, based in Newport Beach, CA. Among her many qualifications, Stella is a graduate of the BASI Comprehensive Program, and holds a Black Belt in Ninjitsu Jiujutsi.

Nicky Taylor Steward
Based in the Chicago area, Nicky has owned and operated her own Pilates business, oneBody, since 2012. She also owned The Movement Studio from 2004 - 2009. Her focus is on teacher training, mentoring, and teaching post-rehab clients in conjunction with referring physical therapists and body workers. Nicky is the Program Director for Deborah Lessen Pilates as well as Deborah’s teaching and workshop assistant.
In addition to the two appointments described above, there are an additional two open seats available for the 2021 election. We will be releasing the ballot shortly and encourage all PMA members to get out and vote!
