Dear PMA Community,

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for positions on the PMA Board of Directors.

To build a strong and effective board, we want to recruit and nominate volunteer board members with the same diligence applied to any other important position. Our goal is to seat a board diverse in every way.

In an effort to remove any perceived bias for the first Board established under the new bylaws, we have enlisted the support of an independent Selection Committee to review applications, interview candidates, and put forth the final slate of candidates by members. In addition, the future board application process will take place in November and fall under the auspices of the PMA Board Nominating Committee.

In accordance with the PMA bylaws, the timeline for the board application and selection process is as follows:

March 17: PMA Board Opens Board Application Process
April 16: Board Application Acceptance Period Closes
April 17 - May 7: Board Application Review and Qualified Candidate Interviews
May 10 - May 21: Virtual Candidate Forum
May 24 -28: Member Voting Period
May 31 - Board Election Results Announced
